Rotary Furnace Incineration Machine – Addfield R1200

Addfields Rotary Incinerator Furnace Plant has been specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of a high capacity incineration plant. The plant is able to achieve burn rates of over 1000kg/hr.

How does a rotary kiln incinerator work?

Its system schematic design is very much the same as a conventional incinerator consisting of:

  • Waste charge system
  • Primary Incineration Chamber
  • Secondary Incineration Chamber
  • Additional Pollution Control Methods

The fundamental difference is the primary combustion chamber. A cylindrical vessel that continuously rotates whilst waste is loaded from one end. The angled arrangement of the cylinder allows waste to traverse the machine in a controlled manner. This constant movement and agitation of the waste allows for the fast and effective breakdown of a variety of waste material under the presence of thermal treatment.

How is a rotary kiln controlled?

The incineration process is very much automated. However the pitch of the almost horizontal incinerator cylinder can be adjusted to increase or decrease the speed at which material traverses the cylinder, as can rotation speed of the cylinder. An operator is able to adjust these parameters according the calorific value or type of waste.

Waste Handling and Loading

The rotary kiln incinerator furnace comes complete with automatic waste handling facility where by a wheeled bin can be presented to the machine, picked up and deposited into a hopper. A sophisticated ram then pushes the waste into the main combustion chamber.

De-ashing

An automatic de-ashing facility, quench the ash material and deposits in to a receiving skip or bin.

The R1200 rotatory kiln incinerator is suitable for medical, pharmaceutical, biological, clinical, red bag, yellow bag waste, however it can also be adapted for a wide range of other waste types.
